# How Aleatory Works- Integration of Chainlink, Arbitrum and LayerZero

### Bonding and Participation

Aleatory Finance introduces a novel approach to participating in lottery bonds through the blockchain. Holders will mint an ONFT that corresponds to a serial number on our DAPP and this number remains yours for as long as you are holding the ONFT. ONFTS are tradable for users to acquire their desired numbers. To align with the concept of randomness in lottery bonds, the ONFTs will be based upon the thought experiment known as Schrodinger's cat.

Users bond $ALEA, the platform's native token, to their ONFT to secure a place in the lottery bond system. This process is facilitated by our user-friendly DAPP. This innovative system ensures a fair and transparent mechanism for reward distribution, leveraging blockchain technology to replicate and improve upon traditional lottery bond mechanics.

### Reward Mechanism

The platform emits 1,000 $ALEA tokens into the reward wallet every week, distributing them on a constant per-second basis. The frequency of the lottery draws is dynamically adjusted based on the total number of seriel numbers reserved and the amount of $ALEA bonded. Utilizing Chainlink VRF, Aleatory ensures that each draw is fair, with the random number generator selecting a winner among the reserved numbers. Winners can claim all the accumulated $ALEA rewards in the reward contract at the time of the draw, with the platform designed to generate a winner approximately every three days.

### Cross-Chain Operability and LayerZero

Aleatory leverages LayerZero technology to enable the cross-chain transfer of $ALEA tokens, maximizing interoperability between Ethereum (where $ALEA is tradable) and Arbitrum (where staking and bonds are deployed). This technical innovation not only enhances the user experience by providing flexibility and efficiency in token transfers but also taps into the deep liquidity of Ethereum and the GameFi and GambleFi community strengths of Avalanche.

### Security and Fairness with Chainlink VRF

The use of Chainlink VRF (Verifiable Random Function) guarantees the integrity of the random number generation process, ensuring that draws are conducted in a manner that is both fair and transparent. This level of security and verifiability is critical in maintaining trust among participants and upholding the decentralized ethos of the platform.
